LORI FERGUSON
FOUNDER AND
PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT
Lori Ferguson brings a rich and diverse background to her role as Principal Consultant of LF Consulting, LLC. With extensive experience as a small business owner, educator, administrator, and workforce specialist, Lori is known for her ability to unite stakeholders across industries to envision, design, and implement impactful workforce and education initiatives. Her leadership has been instrumental in addressing critical labor shortages in health and biosciences, while also supporting national security through the development of high-demand pathways in welding, machining, and manufacturing.
Lori has held several prominent leadership roles, including serving as State President of the Association for Career and Technical Education for four years. She has also served on numerous State Advisory Boards and has been recognized as the 2022 and 2024 CTE Administrator of the Year and the 2024 Instructor of the Year at Roger Williams University Extension School.
Passionate about shaping the future of career and technical education, Lori continues to mentor the next generation of CTE teachers as an adjunct faculty member at Roger Williams University Extension School. Her commitment ensures that tomorrow’s educators are well-equipped to build a strong, skilled workforce.

Susan Votto is an innovative leader with over 34 years of experience in workforce development. As the senior consultant of LF Consulting, LLC, she brings a wealth of expertise and a proven track record of driving innovation and collaboration across key industries, including manufacturing and the trades. Throughout her career, Susan has led impactful initiatives that foster industry partnerships creating training programs that address critical sectors. Additionally, she created impactful mentorship programs across Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
During her tenure as Workforce Development Director at Davies Career and Technical High School, she received numerous accolades for her contributions to the field. These include recognition from Providence Business News for Excellence in Collaboration in Manufacturing (2018, 2021, 2024), Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (2023), and Business Excellence (2019, 2020).
Susan holds a Master's degree in Administration from Providence College and remains deeply engaged in the workforce development community. She serves on the Executive Board of Polaris MEP and the Education Committee of the Rhode Island Manufacturing Association, further demonstrating her commitment to advancing education and training within the industry.

Drew’s passion for marketing began in high school through a CTE Graphic Communication program where he began an adventurous journey that ultimately led to a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from URI. Initially immersed in the sports world, Drew honed his creative talent for graphic design by creating impactful branding media for sports teams. This eventually evolved into a love for social media marketing and content creation. His versatility to adapt to any client and his creative ability to drive marketing visibility for his audience make him a vital asset to LF Consulting.
